Hyundai Genesis Coupe is one of the new kids on the performance vehicle block (it was introduced for the 2009 model year), but this didn’t stop it from throwing some serious punches at competitors with serious history behind them.
However,
Hyundai is planing a new offensive. The Korean automotive producer has just introduced a revision for the vehicle, along with a new “go-fast” model that comes to offer an interesting list of tech upgrades without adding unnecessary stuff.
No, the car has not received the expected 5.0 liter V8 yet, but it has been fitted with the next best thing. The 306 hp 3.8 liter V6 model can now be ordered with an R-Spec package (just like the one offered for the 2.0 turbo version). The main “go-fast” features brought by the kit are 19 inch gunmetal finish alloy rims, a Brembo braking system, sport suspension and a Torsen-type limited slip differential. The pack, which can only be ordered with the six speed manual gearbox, also comes with multiple equipment upgrades.

All the models in the 2011
Genesis Coupe range get an interior that offers new trimming, using a matte-finish and dark metal-grain accents for multiple elements, as well as new leather for the steering wheel and a Chrome finish for certain elements.
